In Winnemucca, we met up the Ellis family, friends I've had my whole life. It was great to spend some time with John, Phyllis, John, Robyn and Sydney, catching up and reminiscing. They recommended we stop at the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls and check out the Snake River. This is one of the few places in the U.S. it is legal to base-jump and maybe we would get to see someone jump.
This led to our next adventure. When we arrived, there were three base-jumpers just getting ready to jump. What a thrill it was to watch and live vicariously through them! We also got to see the remains of the ramp Evel Knievel used in his ill-fated attempt to jump the Snake River.

that is so cool!!!
Snake River, what a small world. Weekend before last, my first official task as Coroner was to send two investigators to Twin Falls Idaho to recover a homicide victim who was driven from sacto and dumped in the Snake River in Winn. We are missing some evidence so on your way back....
Greg -
Let us know if you need us to pick up any bodies while we are in South Dakota, Minnesota, or Wisconsin. We have plenty of room in the back of the truck to haul them back.
